About the RoleWe are excited to recruit a MOT Motor Vehicle Technician for one of the UK’s fastest-growing motor groups. In this role you will carry out MOT testing, service, repair, and maintenance work on a diverse range of vehicles, representing a variety of manufacturers. You will take ownership of your customers' vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards before returning them to the road.
We offer training within the Manufacturer Franchise and the opportunity to progress to Senior and Master Technician status, with strong focus on EV training.

- Report to the Service Manager, meeting franchise, company and manufacturer standards.
- Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on all types of motor vehicles.
- Work within scheduled times to meet company, franchise, and manufacturers’ standards.
- Repair, test, diagnose faults, and replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables.
- Maintain records and provide quality write‑ups for customers and manufacturers.
- Keep your work area clean, tidy and organised, ensuring health & safety compliance.
- Advise and report on vehicle faults, servicing requirements and future needs via Vehicle Health Check and Video process.
- Experience in automotive technical roles.
- Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, with a valid MOT Tester licence.
- Excellent communication skills; thrive in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Electric and hybrid vehicle qualification or certification advantageous, though training provided.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Passion for the work and a positive attitude.
