Extra Care & Sheltered Housing Officer at Honeycomb Group

Base Pay Range

£33,914 a year

Fixed Term – 12 months

Responsibilities
  • Ensure successful delivery of neighbourhood services across three village locations, maintaining high performance and consumer standards, and safeguarding customers.
  • Manage daily operations of neighbourhood models in Extra Care and Sheltered Villages.
  • Support residents to live safely, independently, and comfortably, delivering great customer service whenever needed.
  • Carry out pre‑tenancy risk assessments and respond to changing needs, including complex housing support and advice.
  • Collaborate with the Customer and Neighbourhoods Teams to visit residents, check telecare equipment, spot changes in needs, and refer to external partners.
  • Work with other teams and contractors to keep buildings and facilities running smoothly.
  • Lead new projects, partnerships, and initiatives that benefit residents and the wider community.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Significant experience in delivering neighbourhood services.
  • Ideally, experience in a supported housing environment.
  • A housing‑related qualification or willingness to pursue one as required.
  • Knowledge of housing legislation and regulations applicable to providers.
  • Proven track record of giving excellent customer service with genuine compassion.
  • Highly motivated, outcome‑focused, with emotional resilience.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations.
  • Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance required.
