Please note that while you are applying for roles within specific home departments such as Ride Host, Retail, Sales & Admissions, or other front-end teams, you may be required to support additional departments based on operational needs. Flexibility is essential, and you may be scheduled in alternative areas at certain times during the season.

Are you ready to work in one of the most thrilling environments in the UK? Alton Towers Resort is seeking enthusiastic and safety-conscious Ride Operators to join our world-class team. As a Ride Operator
, you’ll be responsible for operating some of the most exciting rides and attractions in the country, ensuring our guests have a safe and unforgettable experience.

• Safely operate rides and attractions in accordance with strict safety procedures and regulations
• Monitor the ride’s performance and respond swiftly to any issues or concerns
• Engage with guests, answer queries, and provide a high level of customer service
• Ensure all guests follow safety instructions and ride restrictions
• Assist with loading and unloading guests from rides, always maintaining efficiency and safety
• Perform presentational checks and daily inspections of rides, reporting any faults or maintenance requirements
• Support crowd management, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone

• Attention to detail:
  You’ll be responsible for operating complex machinery, so precision and a strong focus on safety are crucial.
• Customer service skills:
  You’ll be interacting with guests throughout the day, helping to create an enjoyable and memorable visit.

  This is a hands‑on, outdoor role, requiring the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
