The Opportunity We are recruiting a dual-qualified US-UK tax professional at Senior Manager level to join a thriving private client tax team. This is an outstanding career move for an ambitious advisor keen to work with sophisticated international HNW clients, offering a well-defined path for progression. The role is based in Central London, operating a hybrid working model weighted towards the office, reflecting the highly collaborative culture and direct client engagement expected.
Key Responsibilities Manage personal tax compliance for high-net-worth UK and US individuals Prepare and review complex tax returns for UK and US HNW clients Deliver technical advice on estate planning, inheritance tax, wealth structuring, and domicile issues Review specialist computations, including offshore trust tax pool calculations Oversee tax return preparation by consultants, providing technical oversight and guidance Support advisory projects and address technical client queries Liaise with HMRC and the IRS on behalf of clients Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships 50% advisory and 50% compliance work Candidate Profile Essential:
Equivalent UK Chartered status with both UK and US tax experience CTA qualified (or CPA, ACCA, ATT, EA, ACA, CA or any other equivalent) with robust technical tax expertise Experience working with UK and US high-net-worth individuals Excellent written and verbal communication skills In-depth knowledge of both UK and US personal tax matters Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong IT skills and adaptability to new technologies Demonstrated record of accurate, timely delivery Desirable:
Previous experience in atop-tier professional services firm
Experience with UK and US tax advisory assignments Exposure to trust and estate planning, as well as wealth structuring Why Consider This Opportunity?
