Recruitment for PR, Marketing, Advertising, Digital and CreativeFollowing continued growth and increasing demand from their core B2B sectors, this hugely successful marketing agency is looking for an experienced Client Services Director to lead the commercial growth of a diverse client portfolio.
This is a senior, client-facing leadership role with responsibility for commercial performance, account growth, senior client relationships and proposition development. You’ll work closely with an operational counterpart as part of a leadership pairing, balancing commercial ambition with delivery reality to ensure sustainable, profitable growth.
You’ll set direction, spot opportunity, protect margin and position the agency as a trusted strategic partner to senior decision-makers across construction, engineering, technology and professional services.

What you’ll be responsible for:
- Owning commercial performance across the client portfolio, including revenue growth, margin and profitability
- Setting growth targets for account teams and holding them accountable in partnership with operations leadership
- Identifying and delivering account growth through upsell, expansion and strategic repositioning
- Building and maintaining senior client relationships at decision-maker level
- Leading commercial input into new business activity, including pitch strategy, pricing and scope definition
- Supporting effective commercial onboarding of new clients
- Shaping and evolving the agency proposition and sector focus
- Representing the business externally through thought leadership, networking and industry engagement
- Embedding sector insight and market intelligence into commercial strategy
What we’re looking for:
Experience
- Significant experience in a senior client services or account leadership role
- Strong background in a B2B agency environment
- Proven track record of driving profitable growth across complex client portfolios
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
Skills
- Strong commercial and financial judgement
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence leading pitches, proposals and commercial conversations
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on leadership
- Clear, credible and persuasive communication style
