As a factory‑based role you will work closely with our Laboratory Manager, chemists, QC team and Operations Manager, as part of the senior management team led by the Factory Operations Director.

The role expands the factory technical team. The successful candidate will lead technical work on cement and epoxy‑based tile adhesives, grouting compounds, smoothing compounds, screeds, moisture control systems and specialist mortars. They will also manage a technical assistant and be responsible for product quality and standards compliance.

• Specifications and managing complaints
• Technical Data Sheets
• Managing packaging technical detail
• Management of NBS specification & MSDS software system
• Working with the wider Technical Team in developing and managing product‑led systems.
• Managing ISO and BBA accreditation

• Previous technical/technical services experience in the cement‑technology sector.
• Knowledge of relevant tiling and flooring BS/EN standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good team player with attention to detail.
• Process‑driven approach.
• Computer literate – Microsoft Office suite.
