A well established manufacturing organisation is seeking a Production Planner to support the smooth running of its operations. You will play a central role in organising workload across multiple stages of production and ensuring that materials, schedules and resources align with customer demand.

Key Responsibilities
Plan capacity across all production areas including fabrication, coating and associated finishing processes
Support time studies to keep capacity data accurate and up to date
Maintain and update works orders within the company's MRP system
Issue clear production schedules and monitor progress through each stage
Assist with maintaining adequate stock levels in line with business requirements
Regularly review planned work against material availability and customer requirements
Coordinate any external finishing activities with approved suppliers
Work closely with internal teams to obtain information required to keep plans on track
Provide reliable completion dates to customer service, installation and other departments

Experience and Skills Required
Background in manufacturing with experience in production planning or scheduling
Confident using IT including Microsoft Office with training provided on in house systems
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and how work flows through production
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
