Senior Business & Events Fundraiser – Dougie Mac
Dougie Mac is not just seeking a Senior Business and Events Fundraiser – we are inviting a compassionate advocate to join our hospice mission.
You’ll be responsible for forging meaningful partnerships with local businesses, hosting engaging events that inspire generosity, and nurturing long‑term relationships with corporate sponsors. This role requires someone who can express gratitude, maintain strong relationships, and show supporters the real impact of their contributions.
You will be part of our vibrant Business & Events team – a fast‑paced environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities- Forge Meaningful Partnerships:
Collaborate with local businesses to show them the impact they can make by supporting Dougie Mac. - Host Engaging Events:
Plan and deliver inspiring events such as our Golf Day, Business Club and prestigious Tree Cycle. - Nurture Relationships:
Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with corporate supporters. - Stewardship:
Express gratitude and keep supporters informed about the difference their contributions make. - Work as Part of a Team:
Support the wider Income Generation team and contribute to achieving income targets of around £250k individually, with further growth potential.

- 35 days of annual leave, rising with length of service

Hours:
37.5 hours including some weekend and evening work. Time in lieu given.
