We have an opportunity for a Sister - Charge Nurse to join their team of staff in the Critical Care Team.

This is a full- time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Provide hands‑on clinical care, acting as a senior point of support for complex or deteriorating patients.

Coordinate daily clinical activity and ensure safe staffing levels, skill mix, and continuity of care.

Promote high standards of nursing practice through supervision, coaching, and role modelling.

Allocate and supervise staff during shifts, ensuring responsibilities are clearly defined and patient needs are met.

Support the development, appraisal, and competency assessment of junior nurses, HCAs, and students.

Contribute to the induction and ongoing development of new staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and policies.

Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.

Significant post‑registration experience in an acute or relevant specialty.

Experience in leading and supervising a team within a clinical environment.

Strong clinical decision‑making, communication, and coordination skills.
