What you will do
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of needs for children in care, ensuring their voices are heard and welfare is prioritized.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Provide professional support and supervision to less experienced staff.
  • Liaise with families, carers, and service providers to secure optimal support networks for children.
  • Regularly review case progress to ensure a high standard of care and support.
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of each child, promoting their integration into the wider community.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need a degree or equivalent qualification in social work, along with current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience working as a qualified social worker on the frontline of social services within the UK is essential.
