An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Logistics Coordinator to join a well-established and growing business based in Stoke-on-Trent.
The role
Lead day-to-day logistics operations to ensure on-time, cost-effective and compliant deliveries
Plan and coordinate transport routes, schedules and carrier allocation
Oversee warehouse logistics including picking, packing and loading efficiency
Manage carrier performance, service levels and KPIs
Resolve delivery issues and escalations professionally and efficiently
Own logistics administration including dispatch paperwork, claims and audit trails
Champion health & safety and compliance across logistics and contractor activity
Lead, coach and develop the logistics team
Oversee import/export processes where applicable
About you
Proven experience in a logistics or transport leadership role
Strong knowledge of delivery planning, carrier management and transport administration
Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Strong customer focus with a professional, diplomatic approach
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and stock/ERP systems
Enthusiastic, reliable and collaborative working style
