HGV Class 2 Driver

We are looking for a reliable Class 2 HGV Driver with a professional manner to join our team based in Stoke-on-Trent. This role will involve frequent travel across the UK with 4 nights away from home each week. Monday - Friday About the role We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated and able to communicate well with others. The ideal candidate will need to interact with customers and staff in a professional manner. You will be required to deliver and collect cars from branches and customers throughout the UK, driving articulated and rigid car transporters. Day-to-day duties Loading and unloading cars onto our state-of-the-art car transporter Route planning on a daily basis Communicating with customers and colleagues in a professional manner to ensure prompt delivery of vehicles Inspecting cars for damage prior to collection and delivery Maintaining the company's high standards and ensuring customers have a positive overall experience Essential skills and experience A Class 2 HGV driving qualification Good communication skills A team player A valid driving licence and a minimum of one years' driving experience Nice to have but not essential Previous car transport experience would be beneficial but not essential Previous experience of multi-drop deliveries in London would be beneficial Full training will be provided by our in-house driver training team Our Culture Arnold Clark is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
