What you will do:

• Perform routine bench work in microbiology using automated systems like BioMérieux Vitek 2 Compact, Biofire Torch, and Cepheid Genexpert, as well as employing manual techniques.
• Maintain clear communication with other departments and the Laboratory Manager.
• Conduct stock maintenance and ensure all supplies are available.
• Fulfill other duties consistent with those of a Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology.

To excel in this role, you must be HCPC registered
