BBBHLab Supervisor; FTC

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Laboratory Supervisor (FTC 18 months) to oversee daily laboratory activities and ensure the delivery of a reliable, accurate and efficient quality control service.

• Plan, prioritise and delegate laboratory workloads, ensuring alignment with business, customer, legal and cost considerations.
• Monitor departmental metrics, analyse performance trends, and implement corrective actions as required.
• Collaborate with the Technical Manager to develop a high-performance laboratory team.
• Ensure technicians follow standard procedures correctly and carry out regular reviews to maintain relevance and accuracy.

• Significant laboratory experience
• Previous or current supervisory experience
• A relevant third-level qualification or strong, demonstrable Quality/Technical experience
• Strong organisational skills, self-motivation and an ability to drive performance
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both operators and management
