Assistant Practitioner Physiotherapist for Children and Young

Overview

We are looking for an Assistant Practitioner Physiotherapist for Children and Young People to support the delivery of our service in the West of the region. You would be working within a well‑established and welcoming service and will work alongside HCSW and registered Physiotherapists as well as HCSWs from Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy.

Our base is The Oaktree, a purposely redesigned multi‑disciplinary Children and Family’s Centre in Stranraer.

We provide therapy and support to children and families in community settings across the large, rural region of Dumfries and Galloway. We work closely with colleagues in health, education and community services ensuring that our children and families experience multi‑agency practice. We are committed to providing excellent support to our staff, encouraging personal and professional development.

You will need to be flexible, be able to prioritise and manage your time effectively. You will be committed to service improvement and work independently whilst still being part of a dynamic team. Extensive travel will be required due to the geography of the region so the ability to travel independently will be essential.
