Senior Tax Advisor

Position: Senior Tax Advisor (Permanent)
We are recruiting for a senior tax advisor to deliver high quality advise to a varied client base.

You will be either ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified and have previous experience working within practice.

The role is office based but will require travel as and when require to meet with clients - you will therefore be required to have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

This is a senior level tax role and will combine hands-on technical tax work, advisory and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver tax advisory projects including - inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax planning and compliance, VAT advice, Stamp duty land tax advice

* Manage all HMRC enquiries and investigates

* Work closely with managers and partners to ensure technically accurate and commercially sound advice is delivered

* Review tax returns prepared by junior staff

* Mentor junior staff members

* Maintain and build client relationships

* Keep up to date with all tax legislations and met CPD requirements
