We're delighted to be working with aleading independent insurance broker based in Alcester, who are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join their growing team.

The Role :

As a Commercial Account Handler, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients across a broad range of industries. You'll provide technical support to Account Executives, handle renewals, and ensure all clients receive an exceptional level of service.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Managing renewals, mid‑term adjustments, and client queries efficiently
  • Preparing and issuing accurate documentation and reports
  • Negotiating with insurers to secure competitive terms and bespoke coverage
  • Supporting Account Executives with client meetings and new business activity
  • Maintaining compliance and accurate client records in line with FCA standards
  • Building strong, long‑term relationships with clients and underwriters
About You :
  • Experience in a commercial insurance handling role within a broker environment
  • Good technical knowledge of core commercial products including property, liability, motor fleet, and combined covers
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, organised approach
  • Experience using Acturis or similar broking platforms
  • Cert CII qualified or working towards (support provided)
