About the Role:
The Recruitment Group are currently looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our clients production team in Evesham. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the efficient packing of produce across various production lines. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety, and enjoy working as part of a team, we'd love to hear from you.
Shift start times are 7am-finish working a 4 on 4 off rota within a 7 day operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all production line personnel adhere to food hygiene and health & safety policies.
Manage and oversee the efficient operation of multiple production lines, including Pro Seal, BBC Blueberry Grader, Unitec Grader, and Robots.
Conduct morning and end-of-shift checks to ensure all machinery is in proper working order before production begins.
Perform regular inspections of the production line to identify and remove any contaminants, ensuring product safety and quality.
Organize packaging materials and supplies, ensuring they are readily available for the packing process.
Complete tool changeovers with coordination from the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any machinery issues promptly.
Work closely with the production team to identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.
Contribute to the achievement of Line Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Ensure lines are regularly cleaned and properly shut down at the end of the shift.
Participate in the ongoing development and success of the Packhouse Vision.
Carry out other duties as required by the role.
Key
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a similar production environment is advantageous, but not essential.
Strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to quality and safety checks.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different departments.
A proactive attitude to identifying and solving problems.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
