Accounts Assistant

Trainee Accountant Stonehouse c.£28,000 Permanent

We are working with a well-established business in Stonehouse that is looking to appoint a Trainee Accountant to join its finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around one year of experience in a finance role who is keen to progress their career and gain exposure to systems support alongside core accounting duties.

As Trainee Accountant you will assist with day-to-day finance operations including preparing financial records supporting month end processes and maintaining compliance standards. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting IT related projects within the finance function making this an ideal role for someone with an interest in systems and technology.

• AAT studier or recent AAT graduate
• Approximately one year of experience in a finance or accounting role
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Interest in IT and willingness to support system improvements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

• The potential for study support for AAT or further qualifications
• Exposure to finance and systems projects
• A supportive environment with opportunities for development
