Lead Maintenance Engineer – Stonehouse
This role offers a lead position within a supportive team at a renowned food manufacturer with a global presence.
Salary:
Circa £50,000 plus overtime (1.5x, Sunday 2x), bonus, 25 days holiday, bank holidays, and pension (employer up to 7%). Shift: Double days – Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00.
- Act as technical authority on the shift, leading planned maintenance and fault diagnostics.
- Drive continuous improvement, mentor the team, coordinate maintenance activities.
- Plan preventive maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance.
- Work with conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, PLCs, etc.
- Support installation of new equipment.
- Manage shift handovers.
- Experienced multi‑skilled engineer.
- Experience in an FMCG environment (or similar).
- Apprentice trained (or equivalent).
