Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the machinery in a proper and efficient manner to achieve acceptable quality.
• Set-up and adjust all machinery.
• Perform general and preventative maintenance on all machines.
• Train operators and feeders and packers in the operation and maintenance of machinery.
• Assist maintenance mechanic in repairs of the equipment.
• Coordinate and assist in carrying out instructions of daily schedules to complete all work in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of material used or spoiled. Assist operators in maintaining this data.
• Participate in any tasks necessary to allow for continuous operation of the process.
• Follow all Plant Safety rules and maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor the level of quality in the products being produced.

Additional Responsibilities

• Collect Statistical Process Control (SPC) Data as required.
• Participate in Continuous Process Improvement Activities as required.
• Follow all guidelines related to SQF Guidelines.
