We're looking for an experienced Groundworks Foreman to lead a residential development project in Sturminster Newton. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in high‑quality work, can manage a small team efficiently, and keeps sites safe, productive, and well organised.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all groundworks operations on a busy residential site
- Manage and coordinate trades, labour, and subcontractors
- Ensure work is completed to spec, on time, and to a high standard
- Read and interpret site drawings
- Maintain health & safety standards and site compliance
- Communicate progress and issues with site management
- Problem‑solve on the ground to keep the project moving
- Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman or Groundworks Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of residential civils and infrastructure
- CSCS card essential
- SSSTS/SMSTS preferred
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Reliable, organised, and confident making decisions on site
- Up to £280 per day, depending on experience
- Long‑term project consistency
- Supportive site team and well‑structured project
- Opportunity to take ownership of a key phase of the build
