Senior Quantity Surveyor

A leading main contractor delivering works under the Great Grid Upgrade is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis.

This role will play a key part in the early commercial set-up, supporting the build-up of rates and cost structures as the contractor begins pricing packages of work across major power transmission and distribution projects.

Key responsibilities:

Building rates and cost models from first principles
Supporting pricing and tender submissions for new works
Commercial input across large-scale T&D infrastructure packages
Working closely with construction, estimating, and delivery teams

Required experience:

Senior QS experience with a main contractor
Background in power, utilities, or major infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of cost build-ups, pricing, and commercial control
