Home Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Home Manager to join a well-established care home group. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate healthcare professional to drive quality improvement and operational excellence at a care home in Suffolk.

Salary: 75,000 - 80,000 per annum

• Conduct monthly Provider/Compliance visits, reviewing KPIs, service improvement plans, maintenance logs, and environmental standards
• Take ownership of care home quality outcomes and overall performance within your region
• Lead on the standardisation of documentation and roll-out of best practices across all homes
• Maintain a strong and visible presence across services, with focused support for underperforming homes
• Build and maintain effective relationships with CQC, Local Authorities, and other professional stakeholders
• Attend and contribute to Governance and Central Team meetings, presenting audit outcomes and insights
• Guide the Home to achieve commercial goals, including occupancy growth and marketing activity
• Contribute to policy and procedure development to enhance care standards and compliance
• Assess training needs, review completion data, and organise or deliver training as required
• Support and develop the team through coaching, mentoring, and regular 1:1 guidance
• Lead and manage formal processes including disciplinary hearings, appeals, and grievances in line with company protocols

Required Skills & Experience

• Registered Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN) highly desirable but not essential
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), with commitment to complete NVQ Level 5 or 7
