Line Leader, Manufacturing ​/ Production

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Packhouse Line Leader to join a leading fresh produce business based in East Anglia. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the company’s fast-paced packing operation, ensuring product quality, team performance, and operational efficiency.

The Role

As a Packhouse Line Leader, you will take ownership of day-to-day line operations, leading a team to deliver high-quality packed products that meet customer and technical standards. You’ll be responsible for maintaining smooth production flow, minimising downtime, and supporting the achievement of daily performance targets.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading and motivating a team to meet performance and output targets

* Operating and overseeing packing machinery, including Top Seal and Flow Wrap equipment

* Ensuring operational efficiency and minimising downtime

* Maintaining accurate paperwork and production records

* Upholding strict quality standards and ensuring all checks are completed correctly

* Working collaboratively across teams to support continuous improvement and consistent product quality

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

* Is fluent in English (both spoken and written)

* Has previous experience in a fresh produce packing environment

* Has a solid understanding of packing machinery and line operations

* Demonstrates strong attention to detail, efficiency, and quality focus

* Possesses excellent communication and leadership skills
