With strong roots in British agriculture, this company has grown into one of the UK s most respected independent milling operations, supplying high-quality flour into the food industry.

This role is based within a working flour mill, making experience in food manufacturing essential. It is best suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating machinery, and wants to build long-term progression within the food sector.

The Role

This is a hands-on, machine-minder style role, supporting both production and maintenance within a 24/7 flour milling operation.

Key responsibilities include:

Operating and monitoring processing and milling machinery
Supporting routine site maintenance and basic mechanical tasks
Ensuring product quality, food safety, and hygiene standards are met at all times
Working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
Occasional work at height and in confined spaces
Maintaining full compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, internal audits, procedures)
Assisting the Maintenance team with planned and reactive tasks as required

What We re Looking For

Experience in a food manufacturing / food production environment (essential)
Comfortable working in an industrial setting such as a mill
Previous experience working at height and in confined spaces
Physically fit and happy to be on your feet for most of the shift
Positive, motivated, and reliable with a strong work ethic
Flexible to work shift patterns and provide holiday cover when required
Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
Full Right to Work in the UK
