Material Handler

Adecco is currently hiring a Material Handler for a full-time, on-site opportunity with one of our clients located in Slemon Park.
In this role, you will report directly to the Materials Supervisor and play a key part in supporting production efficiency by ensuring materials are properly received, stored, and prepared for distribution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a warehouse or materials environment.

• Salary: $20 per hour
• Location: Slemon Park, P.E.I (On-site)
• Job Type: Full-time | Temporary
• Schedule: Monday - Friday

Important requirement:
CGP Clearance OR Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products
• Prepare and package materials for shipment to ensure safe transport
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Assist with inventory counts and material tracking
• Support overall warehouse organization and efficiency

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 10-15 lbs or less
• No machine operation experience required
• CGP Clearance or TDG certification required
• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
• Experience in material handling or warehouse operations
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures
• Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (asset)
• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
