Technical Estimator role at FAAC Technologies

• Manage the Regional enquiry folder and maintain Regional trackers.
• Issue accurate and timely proposals with relevant documentation for each quotation.
• Collaborate with business developers to qualify and prioritise enquiries for quoting.
• Ensure all relevant CRM fields are accurately completed at all times.
• Maintain good working relationships with internal and external teams, manage customer relationships and provide technical telephone and written support to all incoming enquiries.
• Follow up on quotes under £10k and ensure quote accuracy with minimal margin erosion through technical clearance.
• Commercially process new equipment sales orders in CRM.
• Check order details against quote and administer quote acceptance in CRM.
• Input project information into relevant trackers.
• Coordinate with Finance Department to carry out credit checks and track status of payments before design.
• Hand over projects to Commercial Design Team, highlighting any special requirements/programme/payment information.

Required Level: GCSE. Preferred Level: A-Level.

Ideally, experience working in a busy office with experience in the construction industry.

• Highly customer-focused and a team player.
• Highly numerate and articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Highly organised with the ability to plan and prioritise.
• Ability to take initiative and be KPI driven, with experience of working to weekly/monthly/yearly individual and team targets.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.
• PC literate and proficient in MS Office – essential.
• Familiar with CRM systems – preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings – preferred.
• Commercial awareness relating to pricing and creating value propositions – preferred.
