About the role

We are seeking a talented Cost Accounting Staff to join our dynamic team ra Utama Plastindo in Surabaya, East Java. In this full‑time role you will provide accurate and timely cost accounting support to ensure the efficient and effective management of our finances.

• Perform detailed cost accounting activities such as cost analysis, cost allocation, and variance reporting
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and analyse cost data, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and implement process improvements
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date cost accounting records and documentation
• Support the month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Provide cost accounting expertise and recommendations to management

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a cost accounting or financial analysis role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
