Maintenance Operations
Plan, organize, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for campus buildings and facilities
Ensure timely repair of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and structural systems
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
Staff Supervision
Supervise maintenance staff, technicians, and contractors
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and guidance
Ensure staff comply with safety and operational standards
Safety and Compliance
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and maintenance needs
Respond to emergency maintenance issues (power failures, water leaks, etc.)
Budget and Resources
Assist in preparing and managing the maintenance budget
Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts
Approve maintenance-related purchases within authorized limits
Coordination and Communication
Coordinate maintenance activities with academic departments and residential services
Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers
Respond to maintenance requests and complaints in a timely manner
Reporting and Documentation
Maintain records of maintenance work, inspections, and equipment servicing
Prepare reports on maintenance activities and facility conditions
Recommend upgrades, renovations, or system replacements when needed
