Anticipated Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Salary: $60,000 (negotiable based on experience)

We’re growing and currently seeking a Roofing & Waterproofing Estimator to join our dynamic Service team in Surrey. If you’re analytical, detail-oriented, and ready to advance your estimating career, this is the opportunity for you.

• Lead the estimating process for roofing and waterproofing service projects
• Participate in weekly sales meetings and provide updates on bids, awarded projects, and new opportunities
• Maintain and update directories of vendors, contractors, and subcontractors
• Review project documents (drawings, specs, tenders) and perform accurate takeoffs
• Source pricing from manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Perform calculations and enter data into Timberline based on drawings and site visits
• Prepare and submit bid forms, tender packages, and quotations
• Follow up with clients, consultants, and general contractors on bid status
• Collaborate with CAD, purchasing, and production teams to ensure alignment
• Assist with bid bonds, warranties, CCDC documents, and related bid materials
• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven estimating environment

• Diploma or degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management (asset)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in estimating, preferably in roofing or waterproofing
• Familiarity with commercial roofing/waterproofing systems and construction practices
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and technical specifications
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Clear verbal and written communication across internal and external teams
• Experience with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Plan Swift) is considered an asset
• High level of integrity with confidential project and bid information
• Strong multitasking, time management and prioritization skills
