Position: Project Director (high-rise), StreetSide Developments
Job Overview
Reporting to the Director, Construction, as the Project Director you will oversee all aspects of construction projects that relate to large and complex construction, including but not limited to mid-rise and high-rise construction (or projects comparable in size/scope) to ensure projects are completed according to the prescribed budget, timeline and quality standards. You also act as the departmental liaison with other related parties.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Leading the project design, permitting, tendering, construction and homeowner relations.Collaborating with relevant parties to establish and maintain project proformas, budgets and schedules, and prepare proposed sale prices.Hiring, directing, supervising, developing and providing guidance to office and site team members while promoting a collaborative work environment.Overseeing and fostering positive relationships with design consultants, trades, suppliers and other industry partners. Selecting and tendering contracts to trades and suppliers.Managing purchasing, estimating, contracts, change orders, problem resolutions and vendor management.Participating in the development of new projects, product lines, floor plans and design details.Developing and modifying models or specifications when necessary.As our ideal candidate, you are…

Degree or Diploma in Construction/Project Management, or equivalent.Minimum 10 years of construction experience in a managerial position, preferably in residential and/or commercial construction industry with multi-unit, mid-rise to high- rise construction.Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint) and project management software (Teamwork, MS Project, Autodesk Build, Procore or similar).What We Value
