Reporting to the Supervisor, Radiological Technology and the Site Coordinator, Medical Imaging, the Radiological Technologist practices in accordance with professional standards and applies a client‑ and family‑centered care model within Fraser Health.
The Radiological Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic, fluoroscopic, and medical imaging procedures, observing safe radiation protection practices. Duties include receiving requisitions, entering data into the Radiology Information System (RIS), preparing patients for examination, operating radiographic equipment, processing radiographs, monitoring patients, and maintaining cleanliness of examination rooms.

- Knowledge and practice of safe work procedures with diagnostic radiographic equipment.
- Ability to perform radiographic examinations in compliance with departmental standards.
- Understanding of evidence‑based practice related to the modality.
- Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Knowledge of research processes and methodology.
- Familiarity with PACS/Radiology Information Systems.
- Effective oral and written communication with clients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Proficiency in operating related imaging equipment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to prioritize workload in collaboration with others.
- Proficiency in CPR techniques.
- Computer skills, including use of client‑care information systems.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
