Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Pay Range: starting from $27.19/hour

• Build up a strong FF/TM operation team requiring supervision of team members in BC
• Directly report to Freight Forwarding Manager and update financial status weekly
• Resolve issues related to customer inquiries, data input and general customer service related to shipping, tracking & tracing.
• Investigate and plan the most appropriate route for a shipment, taking into account the perishable or hazardous nature of the goods, cost, transit time and security.
• Arrange appropriate packing, taking into account climate, terrain, weight, nature of goods and cost, and the delivery and warehousing of goods at the final destination.
• Develop and expand freight forwarding partners (e.g., transportation company, customs brokers) as well as manage the services and performance of vendors, third party providers, and other relationships in BC.
• Oversee the preparation of customs documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, shipping statements, receipts, to ensure accurate and complete documents are prepared within designated time frames.
• Liaise with third parties to move goods (by road, rail, air or sea) in accordance with customer requirements.
• Arrange insurance and assist the client in the event of a claim.
• Consistently oversee the freight from origin to destination and take responsibility for any occurrences while solving them constructively and timely.
• Dispatch freight, update orders and load screens while properly closing orders timely through our carrier system.
• Deliver clear expectations regarding the role and direction of the team, promote and instill a positive work environment that is challenging and engaging.
• Periodically conduct training for existing and new employees.
• Proactively address concerns, conflicts, and interactions with team members.

• Completion of a freight forwarding or transportation diploma/degree program in Canada.
• +4 years of experience in transportation management, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or warehousing and distribution services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and solve problems.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment.
