Accounts Semi-Senior

Due to extensive growth and acquisitions, Fusion Consulting Group are looking to recruit an Accounts Semi‑Senior to be based out of our Surrey office, in Egham.

The group has several subsidiaries ranging from Tax, Accounting, Legal, Financial Services and Recruitment. Our mission is to disrupt the disjointed Professional Services space.

Working with our team of accountants, you will be required to complete end to end accounting and taxation tasks for a range of SME businesses and individuals, using industry leading tools.

The role of Accounts Semi‑Senior will report directly to the Head of Accounting.

• Prepare year end statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Prepare management accounts and VAT returns
• Preparing corporation tax computation calculations and basic tax planning
• Preparing personal tax returns and basic tax planning
• Conduct bookkeeping and review client records to ensure accuracy
• Apply an advanced knowledge of rules and regulations followed by UK SME’s including tax requirements, company secretarial and a general commercial awareness
• Assist with completing company secretarial tasks
• Work as part of a team to provide ad‑hoc accounting assistance and ensure clients receive an excellent service
• Maintain records of our clients using accounting software packages including Xero and Quick Books
• Liaising with clients on ad‑hoc queries

• Part‑qualified ACA / ACCA
• 2–4 years’ experience working in a UK accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UK GAAP
• Proficiency with accountancy software (e.g., Xero, Quick Books, Sage, IRIS, CCH)
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple client deadlines

• Up to £35,000pa, dependant on experience
