Warehouse Operative

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for Warehouse Operatives to begin work for a well-established company in the Send area.

About the role:

* Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 9am–5:30pm (1 hour unpaid lunch) – 7.5 paid hours per day

* Pay Rate – £13 per hour

* Carry out thorough cleaning of the office, toilets, and kitchen twice a week in the mornings

* Ensure the warehouse is immaculate, organised, and well maintained at all times

* Complete daily warehouse inspections with the Warehouse Manager

* Itemise and stock take materials and exhibition stand equipment

* Assist in loading and unloading vehicles and checking in deliveries

* Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, and designated areas

* Manage waste and recycling, including breaking down old project materials and disposing correctly

* Driving duties – collecting materials and delivering equipment (Lutons & Low Loaders)

* Occasional assistance with rigging and de-rigging exhibition stands locally

* Must be physically fit due to handling large wooden structures, glass panes, metal frames and bases

* Long-term work for the right candidate (temp to perm)

* Start – ASAP, subject to interview

* Occasional early mornings, late nights or weekends may be required – compensated by Time Off In Lieu (TOIL)

About You:

* High work ethic & team player

* Punctual & reliable

* Warehouse experience essential

* Confident using power tools

* Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)

* Physically fit and capable of manual handling

* Safety boots required
