Commercial Manager – Regeneration – Surrey – £75,000 plus package

Long established and leading developer of homes and regeneration programmes urgently require a Commercial Manager to join their Regeneration team from the Surrey office.

This role as Commercial Manager will be responsible for ensuring timely & accurate cost management, dealing with contractual matters, procurement & payment of sub-contractors for a complex and large volume of development projects; from pre-operational stage through to final account settlement.

Although based from the Surrey office the successful candidate will need to be prepared to travel to the South West and Midlands occasionally to visit major Regen schemes.

• Assisting in the speedy, accurate and cost effective management for development sites from pre-production negotiation to completion
• Negotiating and letting of sub-contractors within the set timescales including the recommendation of cost effective initiatives on the development design detailed and materials specified.
• Preparation of sub-contract documents ensuring that they contain all work and/or materials which are likely to be required to enable the dwelling to be ultimately completed
• Providing any further assistance and information to the Commercial Director as and when required.

• RICS/CIOB qualification
• Must be commercially aware with the ability to manage staff
• Extensive experience in a senior surveying position, ideally within the house building industry or with a developer with mixed use credentials
• Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task
• Organised- able work to strict deadlines under pressure.
• Concrete frame experience and experience in running complex, mixed use, multi-phased projects.
