The salary range for this full‑time, permanent position is £47,884 - £51,175 per annum based on a 36‑hour working week. We also offer a financial package of up to £6,000 payable in 3 instalments across your first 18 months in post.
We provide a 9‑5 qualified social work role based at our Woking office, meaning you won’t be required to travel to visit children, young people and families, offering greater flexibility.

The “Front Door” for Surrey’s Children’s services; front‑facing practice based on strong relationships; motivational approaches and Family Safeguarding Model; engage families and partners; understand presenting worries; determine statutory social work need.
AboutThe Role
Advanced Social Workers in the Multi‑Agency team within C‑SPA gather information and make enquiries to inform threshold decisions regarding support levels; support junior team members; gain management experience; mentor junior staff; deliver front‑door activity focused on child protection and safeguarding.

- Experience and commitment to partnership working with statutory, voluntary and third sector partners to safeguard and support CYP and families
- Ability to work at pace in sometimes challenging and emotionally sensitive situations
- Well‑developed assessment and analytical skills to navigate and interrogate data for evidence‑based decisions
- Clear and calm communication with individuals, families and professionals
- Proven ability to de‑escalate situations
- Proven ability to support and collaborate effectively with team members and partners
- Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
