Are you a passionate RVN who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment? Do you take pride in delivering exceptional patient care and want to be part of a team that sets the benchmark for clinical excellence?

I am excited to be recruiting on behalf of a 24-hour small animal hospital based in a well-loved market town in West Sussex. This busy and forward-thinking practice is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their welcoming and highly skilled team on a weekend-only basis.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in the clinical delivery of nurse-led appointments, while also supporting the veterinary team with procedures and patient care. You’ll be expected to uphold the highest clinical and operational standards, all within a culture that encourages collaboration, compassion, and continual improvement.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with at least two years of experience who is looking for flexibility, with weekend shifts averaging 20 hours per week. There is also the option to take on additional hours if you’d like to become more involved.

The hospital itself is a vibrant, fully equipped centre of veterinary excellence, offering everything from CT imaging, digital and dental radiography, endoscopy and bronchoscopy, to a full in-house lab, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring, and two dedicated theatres. The thoughtfully designed layout includes a separate cat waiting area, species-specific wards, and a dedicated isolation facility — ensuring best-practice protocols throughout.
