Warehouse Operative

Our client is an established food production manufacturer. They are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join their dedicated team in Rye, East Sussex.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a warehouse, have experience of operating a Very Narrow Aisle Forklift, have awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace and hold a Full UK Driving Licence due to the company s location. As a Warehouse Operative you will be unloading deliveries, ensuring stock is checked and stored correctly, following order forms to pick and pack products as well as product organisation and preparing orders for despatch.

The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Demonstrable experience within a warehouse
• Have operated a Very Narrow Aisle Forklift
• Be computer literate
• Ability to prioritise tasks
• Be able to work well in a team as well as independently
• Awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace
• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence

Your duties as a Warehouse Operative will include:

• Unloading of deliveries ensuring stock is checked and stored correctly
• Following order forms to pick and pack products
• Preparing products for despatch
• Creating labels for shipping
• Moving of pallets
• Product organisation
• Ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy

Salary:

£12.30 per hour

Hours:

• Monday Friday, 8am 4.30pm
• Full time
• Temp to Perm Position
