Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical background? Do you enjoy working in a traditional engineering environment where no two days are the same? If so, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Sutton Coldfield. You'll be maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment, including manual lathes and milling machines, ensuring production runs smoothly in our established, old-school engineering environment.

The Role:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on workshop machinery
Fault-finding and repairing mechanical issues on lathes, milling machines, Hydraulics and Pneumatic systems.
Assisting with continuous improvement and reliability projects
Learning and developing electrical skills to broaden your expertise

About You:

Time-served/qualified in Mechanical Engineering (apprenticeship or equivalent)
Strong background in mechanical maintenance

Experience with lathes and milling machines is highly desirable
Willingness to learn and develop electrical skills
A problem-solver with a proactive, can-do attitude
