40 hours per week - Days (8am-8pm)

Time Recruitment is supporting a well‑established service in their search for a Deputy Home Manager to join as middle management in this ideally placed service!

Registered for 38 residents and currently supporting 26 elderly residents with residential, elderly/frail and dementia nursing needs.

We are seeking a confident, clinically strong Deputy Home Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality care to join this innovative, well versed manager in propelling the service into clinical excellence.

This is a hands‑on position with a strong clinical focus. You will work 2-3 shifts on the floor and 1-2 supernumerary shifts leading this longstanding yet incredibly skilled team.

⭐ Key Responsibilities for the Deputy Home Manager role:

-     Supervising, supporting, and appraising staff

-     Completing medication audits

-     Assisting with assessments and participating in shared on‑call

-     Upholding clinical governance standards

-     Recording and reporting safeguarding concerns

-     Creating and updating care plans using the PCS system

-     Providing strong care management on the floor

-     Delivering compassionate end‑of‑life care

-     Supporting residents with dementia and leading dementia‑aware practice

Requirements for the Deputy Home Manager role:

-     PCS experience - essential

-     RGN or RMN qualification

-     NMC registration

-     Minimum 2 years' leadership experience in a care home (3-4 years preferred)

-     Ideally Level 5 Leadership & Management (or working towards)

-     Proven experience in staff training and development

-     Strong understanding of NICE guidelines
