Overview

Position:
Sales Manager, Residential Property

Location:

Sutton Coldfield
Salary:
Up to £28,000 - £30,000 per annum + generous commission

Working Hours:

Full time, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm, with 2 Saturdays 3p/m, 9am to 2pm

My client is a successful, independent estate agent based in Sutton Coldfield that is growing year on year. They are now seeking an experienced Property Sales Manager to join their management team.

The successful candidate will be tasked with developing high end property market across Four Oaks, Little Aston, Mere Green, and Sutton Park areas, so knowledge of the area would be advantageous.

Being an ambitious business, they have future growth plans and if you do well, you will be given the chance to grow your career as the business expands.

As you’d expect, there will be a requirement to visit properties so you will need a driving licence and own vehicle. Full mileage expenses will be paid accordingly.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out property valuations with leads provided
  • Converting valuations to listings
  • Finding new properties to appraise
  • Overseeing branch operations alongside the Lettings Manager
  • Developing sales opportunities with the support of senior management
  • Working to achieve pre-agreed branch targets
  • Responding promptly and effectively to phone and online enquiries
  • Advertising properties for sale on relevant websites and social media
  • Organising and attending viewings
  • Negotiating offers and finalising sales in accordance with company guidelines
  • Marketing properties using photography, video, lifestyle content, and brochures
  • Accurately recording appointments, viewings and contact with clients
  • Assisting with other business requirements as needed
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years estate agent / sales negotiator / valuer experience
  • An understanding of breaking into new property markets
  • Energetic and enthusiastic
  • Motivated to succeed with a good work ethic
  • Strong communication and negotiating skills
  • A team player
  • Organised and efficient approach with the ability to prioritise key tasks
  • PC literate and experienced with MS office
  • Well presented, polite and approachable
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
