MIG​/MAG Welder

• MIG / MAG Welder Needed
• Sutton in Ashfield, NG17
• £15.31 - £18.21 per hour (inclusive of production bonus)
• Day Shifts - 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Thurs, 7:15am - 1:30pm on a Friday
• Regular Overtime Available

Mansfield Hub are working in partnership with a leading manufacturer in Sutton-in-Ashfield to recruit for an experienced MIG / MAG Welder to join their team on a temp to perm basis. This role is an immediate start and we are looking for candidates who are reliable and motivated.

• Perform MIG and MAG welding and other welding processes to join metal parts accurately and efficiently
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
• Assist in the assembly of metal structures, ensuring precision and quality standards are met
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Conduct inspections of welds for quality assurance and adherence to safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations

• Proven experience in MIG and MAG welding
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
• Experience in assembly work is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• Relevant certifications or training in welding are preferred but not mandatory

A pre-employment weld test will be required prior to being offered a role.

£15.31ph with a maximum bonus potential of £18.21ph

8am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday and Friday 7:15am - 1:30pm

Overtime available - paid at time and a half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays
