Location: S&S Plastics, Sutton‑in‑Ashfield

Hours: Three shift’s rotation – Days 06:00‑14:00 / Afters 14:00‑22:00 / Nights 22:00‑06:00

Salary: Basic £28,353.06 plus Night shift Allowance £1,359.96 / Afters Shift Allowance £339.96

• Setting up machine cells ready for production to start
• Cleaning down machines & auxiliaries thoroughly on changeovers
• Preparation of materials for production requirements
• Storing materials in the correct location when not in use
• Monitoring batch numbers on raw materials and ensuring accurate paperwork
• Maintaining general housekeeping and keeping working areas clean and tidy throughout the shift
• Completing full line clearances at the end of a production run
• Checking all paperwork for anomalies and reporting to Manager
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations at all times

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable with medium to heavy lifting (full training provided, including Manual Handling Training)
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Practical thinking
• Ability to keep pace in a high‑volume production environment
• Experience working in a factory environment
• Experience with long shifts, on your feet
