Rent Account ManagerWe are pleased to share an opportunity for someone to join us as a Rent Account Manager, responsible for the proactive and effective collection of rent within the "Victory Homes" area.
This is a 12-month fixed‑term contract opportunity, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities- Support tenants to sustain their tenancy and help prevent rent debt.
- Proactively and effectively collect rent within the Victory Homes area.
- Work with tenants in their homes on a one‑to‑one basis when required.
- Ensure tenants manage their rent accounts and deliver outstanding customer service and support when needed.
- Set up regular rent payments and prevent debt from reoccurring.
- Work closely with tenants to understand the cause of their debt and locate relevant support agencies and partners.
- Support the manager to lead on the vision, "Housing Made Simple," ensuring compliance with law, legislation, and Flagship policies and procedures.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to deliver complex and difficult messages in a simple and engaging way.
- Strong listening and empathy skills to act in the tenant’s best interest.
- Proficient numerical and systems skills.
- Ability to confidently prioritise and manage a caseload based on urgency.
- Education to GCSE or equivalent standard or qualified by experience in a similar role.
- Full valid driving licence.
