Clark Wood is delighted to be working with a highly respected and forward-thinking firm of chartered accountants in Swansea who are looking to add an experienced Accounts Senior / Semi-Senior to their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and capable individual to join a supportive and dynamic practice where you will take ownership of a varied client portfolio and play a key role in delivering high-quality compliance services.

• Preparing year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
• Producing accounts to final stage for partner review.
• Preparing corporation and personal tax computations.
• Assisting with VAT returns and management accounts where required.
• Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide support.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure deadlines are met and standards maintained.

• Ideally QBE or AAT qualified – study support is not required for this role.
• Strong experience within a UK accountancy practice environment.
• Confident preparing accounts to final stage with minimal supervision.
• Good knowledge of tax compliance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build client relationships.
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing your own workload.
