Aboutthe Role
This is a fixed-term role until July 2026, working 21 hours per week over 5 days (ideally starting at 8:30 am).
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Coordinator to support the Director of People Services at Swansea University. The role involves managing complex diaries, coordinating high-level meetings, and handling sensitive communications with discretion and professionalism. The successful candidate will prepare reports and presentations, monitor email correspondence, and ensure timely follow‑up on actions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the university, contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities- Manage complex diaries for the Director of People Services.

- Proficiency in English and basic Welsh language skills (Level
1).

Welsh Language SkillsThe Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 (A little). The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh, and use very basic everyday words and phrases. Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1‑hour course. Welsh speakers have the right to an interview in Welsh.
