Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Swansea Home » Rail » Off Track Civil » Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Swansea
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 + pkg
Location: Swansea
Region: Wales
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a major civil engineering contractor who are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a key rail project within the business, based in Swansea.
Candidate Profile:- Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar preferred
- Experience working with a main contractor on civil engineering projects
- Good, Solid understanding of the NEC form of contract
- Forward thinking attitude to achieve best results
- Support the project team in all Commercial matters
- Assistant and manage various key sub contract packages
- Assist the procurement process to maximise profit and help ensure subcontract orders are placed on time and in accordance with the company policy.
- Be aware of the contractual requirements of the project.
- Act in best commercial interests at all times.
- To act professionally at all times.
- Work with and develop the trainee surveyor on the project if applicable
