A respected and design-focused architectural practice is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their growing team. As Architectural Technologist, you will support the technical delivery of projects across all RIBA stages. You'll be responsible for producing detailed construction drawings, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring compliance with building regulations and planning requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and developing technical drawings and specifications Supporting project delivery from concept through to completion Liaising with external consultants, contractors, and local authorities Ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and planning policies Contributing to project coordination and documentation Supporting senior team members and collaborating across disciplines What you'll need to succeed
You'll have experience in a similar role within an architectural practice, with strong technical skills and a good understanding of UK construction standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential, along with excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Essential skills and experience:
Experience working across RIBA stages Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing Ability to manage tasks and deadlines effectively Excellent communication and team collaboration skills What you'll get in return
